INTERSTING INFO: From the 1954 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: The creation of the flamingo pink Iris has been a fascinating chapter in Iris development. Mallow Marvel's merit lies in two points in which I think a number of highly inbred flamingo Iris fail; it is a vigorous grower with deep green foliage and the stem is tall, carrying three open florets at a time.
