INTERESTING INFO: From the 1986 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Something new! A claret wine shade of color totally new to the Iris spectrum. No other Iris can match Loyalist for this sheer vibrancy of color. This cerise-claret self has a total uniformity of color with matching beards. Its well tailored blooms are both large and nicely ruffled. Well branched with 6-7 buds. A very vigorous grower with lush tall foliage.
