INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1986 Schreiner’s Iris Lover’s Catalog: Direct from where the high waves roll onto the seashore. Here is a bubbly and effervescent Iris buoyantly unfurling clean uniform colors. Its undulating petals create a remarkable billowing effect. Add the superb blue hue; bluer that any other in its class. Fine sized florets are proudly displayed on four branched stems with 8 to 10 beautifully spaced buds. One of the most ruffled and delightfullly fluted Iris we have seen.

The term 'breaker' is a nautical term for small water casks (barrels) attached to ropes to wear out larger fish or sharks as they try to escape fishing boats.
