INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1994 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Avalon Sunset is undoubtedly our best orange introduction to date. These vigorous plants produce strong weather-resistant stalks with three or four branches (one extra-low) yielding 8-10 buds. Bright tangerine beards add extra zest to the heavily ruffled flaring falls.
