From the 1968 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: The novel color hues of this iris are beautifully and meodiously combined. The standards are buff with a violet infusion on the midribs. The falls rosy violet, ruffled and fluted. This iris has a most pleasant touch of gold in its makeup.
