INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1981 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Majestic and imposing as if from another world...This marvel is a fantastically sumptous silken bishop's purple self. It has been the cynosure of all eyes at our gardens. Its absolutely uniform dark violet coloring and its large sized flowers mark Titan's Glory as one of the best Iris of its shading introduced in years. Measurements of the immense florets are imposing indeed—more than 6 inches tall and a full 5 inches across. This very broad petaled beauty has a long season of bloom. Double socketed bracts, 3 to 4 branches ; 8 buds. A superb Iris!
