From the 1930 Cayeux et LeClerc Catalog: An ideal large perfectly formed flower of an attractive tone of rosy-mauve slightly deeper on the well rounded falls. A stately free-growing plant producing strong tall stems 4 to 5 expanded blooms at the same time.

From the 1937 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: This stalwart lavender-pink is an admirable subject where tall stems are required. Very fine for planting in front of shrubbery.
