INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1977 Schreiner’s Iris Lover's Catalog: Sleek and ebony-hued, this rich dark beauty opens three flowers at a time on a well branched 8 to 10 budded stem. The copiously wide and stiff substanced petals appear to have been polished with printer's ink. They’re classically formed and beautifully carried. A hint of maroon, deep within the ebony-black tints, distinguishes this rich beauty. For the connoisseur – a sumptuous dark colored novelty.
