INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1983 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: As if from another world this lustrous beauty radiates a delightfully clear rosy shade of warm lavender-orchid. Literally leaping from the center of each flower is a rich tangerine beard, like a red-golden orb set in a shimmering sky. Starcrest has rigid upright closed standards and airily ruffled falls. A patrician in its color class...so graceful, clear and precise. The stiff double socketed stems have a habit of opening three flowers at the same time. A quantum leap to intrinsic high quality!
