INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1973 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: An exuberant, healthy plant in growth, bearing profusely its very smooth—smooth as glass, glossy unfading rich red blooms. An absolute self, haft unveined and very luminous, bright and shiny for such a deep shade. Its extraordinary color makes it suitable for planting with pinks and bright yellows as well as some ordinary colors in between. Illustrated on our front cover, a vigorous, upright plant; 3 branches per stem with 6 to 7 buds. Highly Commended AIS '72
