ORIGINATOR: Luzon Crosby
INTRODUCED: 1958
CLASS: Tall Bearded
HEIGHT: 38"
BLOOM SEASON: Early-Mid to Late
DESCRIPTION: Deep lavender-blue, light blue patch at tip of beard.
PARENTAGE: (Snow Flurry x Great Lakes) X Jane Phillips
AWARDS: None
PBF: None
INTERESTING INFO: From the 1958 Tell's Iris Gardens Catalog: Big, wide, extra heavily substanced, flared, ruffled, deep lavender-blue set off by a blue-white area surrounding the beard. A strong and healthy grower. Crossed with Violet Grace, Pinafore Lass, or their seedlings, this should intensify the light area in the falls (something I am working for) or could produce very good blues or whites.
