INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1985 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Bouncing with energy like ocean waves, Sea of Joy offers another dramatic advancement in the development of ruffled Iris. No other blue combines both purity of this color and intense ruffling as does this descendant of Victoria Falls. The overall effect is that of a boisterous whirling sea with tossed whitecaps, in this case white tipped beards. These fully rounded flowers are held on stems having three branches, with a full complement of 7 to 8 buds.
