INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1931 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Well branched strong firm stems over 3 feet tall. The flowers are of a fine flattened shape, expanding in profusion at the same time. S. light violet with a greyish-slaty reflex. F. at right angles to the standards, gracefully frilled, purple-red on the center, shading lighter at the edges; large white throat reticulated violet. An Iris of exceptional vigour recommendable specially for the profuse way it flowers late in season.
