INTERESTING INFO: From the 1978 Schreiner’s Iris Lover's Catalog: As warm as the summer is long, this choice blend has exquisite form, fine substance and such an attractive color. It virtually bursts with its vibrant suntanned brassy yellow to henna brown shading. While its standards are imperceptibly deeper color than the slightly flaring falls, the center of the bloom is capped with sun-dancing golden beards. This eye opener has broad fully rounded petals, upright well addressed standards, and ideally branched stems. Blends are hard to describe as best; only pictures can do it justice. Very smooth and brightly colored, this is certain to be a favorite.
