INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1965 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Amethyst Flame, the immensely popular Dykes Medal winner, is one of the parents of this beautiful new rose pink iris (Opal Beauty, the other). It inherits the tremendous stamina, heavy substance, generous size and attractive ruffling so well liked in Amethyst Flame. The clover rose shade has a slight brown margin around the falls and an excellent, branched stem that carries 15 buds. This is the warm rose color so effective in the garden.
