INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1997 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: No word describes the soft sonorous changing tones of color in Mountain Echo. Its subtle blending of gunmetal blue to lavender varies in hue from high noon to evening shadows, casting a haunting entrancing mood. The falls are rimmed with an unmistakable ¼ inch margin of light chocolate and are highlighted by right tangerine beards. The large patrician flower has impeccably ruffled form and superb substance. Exceptional vigor produces two to three stems per clump, each with 8-10 flowers.
