INTERESTING INFO:
From the 2004 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Here we have a bright fiesta that is one of the first Tall Bearded Iris to bloom. This variegata has brassy gold standards and rich maroon falls as portrayed in our picture. The perimeter of each fall has a ¼" band of bronze-gold at its edge, which is the same color as the standards. A good grower, Mexican Holiday yields many more flowers on three branches often having 11 buds per stalk.
