INTERSTING INFO: From the 1942 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: In 1939, we introduced light sky blue Andalusian Blue, the first light blue intermediate. We offer Marine Wave as fitting companion, a rich medium deep blue with a solid uniformity of color that is carried even to the blue beard. A stem often has 3 blooms open at once. A cross with dwarf species aphylla from which it derives its beard and branching habit.
