INTERESTING INFO: From the 1981 Schreiner’s Iris Lover's Catalog: This worthy child of Cranberry Ice is a most pleasant addition to the rose-orchid class. Note how the standards overlap and hide the stamen. In fact, so broad are the petals that the standards meet underneath the style arms. This gives a ruffled character to the blossom imparting the idea of a demure pinafore dress. Add to this the handsome white patch below the beard and we have a touch of elegance. A strikingly colored and patterned rose-orchid. Well-branched stems, 11 florets with the best substance.
