INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1987 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Hot dog! Li'l Red Devil sports its rich uniform red shades with pride. This choice glossy maroon-red self is certainly brightly colored. Nicely balanced flower, stem and foliage. A much needed addition to the SDB class.

Webmaster's Note: Despite the official description of having self beards, the photograph displayed in the 1987 Schreiner's catalog clearly displays the beards having a purplish-blue tint to them. The photographs displayed above accurately portray the iris pictured in the catalog.
