INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1983 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Just as the bloom season is over and the crowds have all gone home we find a pleast Iris surprise...a last hurrah. HEre is a season extender...a tall bearded variety which blooms after the main show is over assuring one of an extra long cycle of bloom. In color and form we have an added bonus. Last Hurrah has a large handsome 7 x 7 inch flower of rich lavender-blue with more ruffles and fluting than any mid-blue Iris we know. Refer to our illustration on the front cover for a typical double socketed scape with 8 to 10 buds and you will be amazed. What a fine last bid to the season's floral revelry!
