INTERESTING INFO: From the 1982 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: An invitation to excellence and something especially differnt. Invitation is a clear colored good sized pink amoena, having 2 short branches with 5 to 6 buds. Its pristine white standards invite the warmth of the light pink-apricot falls. In addition this gem, if given appropriate cultural conditions, has a pronounced tendency for recurrent bloom in the fall. This past season we had 60% bloom in August-September. We think this was "overperforming." For the adventurous gardener...this is an Invitation.
