INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1971 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Last season, after critical appraisals, we made the final selection from a series of flounced and ruffled golden blended iris seedlings. We named this selection Honey Chiffon. It is the first blend with heavily ruffled and flounced character. Sparkling, golden honey hued, it is absolutely vibrant with an aureole of lighter gold dust radiating flashes of color. Note the breadth of the petals of this elegantly ruffled bloom. A single fall measures 3" across. Has a sturdy stem with 2 to 3 branches and 7 to 8 buds. A unique feature is that the warmer the weather, the more ruffling and flouncing intensifies. HC'70
