From the 1987 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: We have finally succeeded in raising a special tangerine bearded intermediate. Snappy flaring lemon-chartreuse falls sport the flamming tangerine beard on a flush pink pumila-style "spot." Standards are a good cream color. Bright and different and wow that beard.
