INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1971 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Here is a charming, lightly marked plicata of circumspect qualities that is worth of top star billing. A descendant of the famous Stepping Out, the statuesque, absolute pure white with precise ribbon edge of light blue is lovely to behold. Destined to be a great exhibition show winner, as it easily opens 3 florets on the same stalk. Its average is 11 buds per stem. The multi-branched stem often produces two displays of 3 florets open at the same time! Lovely classic form, ideal poise, and beautiful branched stem. A choice new blue plicata, so effective and desirable in the garden.

Gigi is a comedy musical from 1958. The music was by Alan Jay Lerner, who is also known for his work on "My Fair Lady."
