INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1974 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: A very unique novelty—this lacy edged amoena of unusual striking contrasts. Sportive and gay, with its glistening crown of silvery white standards and the handsome effective foil of rich, sumptuous, dashing rose-purple falls, it is a trim, neat, compact flower with an individual buoyant air. The symmetry and vivacious litl due to the perky, laced edging on the standards as well as on the falls attracts attention to the vibrant jewel. Not a large flower, the color combination plus the unique lacing in a amoena divulges its orginality.
