INTERESTING INFO: From the 1959 Tell's Iris Gardens Catalog: Truly a glorified Grand Canyon. Actually the color is violet with mauve shadings. Glittering gold dust extending from the hafts, covering much of the fall petals. Some ruffling, the standards are closed and the falls are wide and flaring. Beard is bright orange. Branching good and stalks are heavy.
