INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1979 Schreiner's Iris Lovers Catalog: This winsome Iris is sure to engage the fancier's attention because from any distance in the garden it carries as PINK! For some reason flamingo pink Iris, as opposed to many other pink flowers, are lighter in color register. Thus pink Iris are best appreciated close up. Iris hybridizers have generally not succeeded in intensifying these flamingo colorings. The salient feature of ENCHANTED WORLD is its color for its presents a whole new horizon of pink. Close up, as well as far away, this is a luscious bright rose-pink with a deep rose-shrimp beard. Its slightly flaring falls simultaneously open with two or three 6½" flowers per stem on three widely spaced branches, double socketed, 7 buds.
