From the 1967 Fleur de Lis Gardens Catalog: A very heavily substanced medium blue with beautifully ruffled, conic standards and white ruffled, flaring falls. A pale lemon, white tipped beard accents its blueness. Much admired here last year.

From the 1966 Knopf Iris Gardens Catalog: Heavily substance medium blue self. Fluted and ruffled conic S. and F. Beard pale yellow tipped white. Branching not good. Will pod only.
