INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1983 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Where cold water meets ice...aunique color pattern which contrasts a surprising deeper shade of lavender-blue in the standards over pale whitish tints in ther pert flaring falls. A hyrbidizing miracle...the bluest standards yet in this unique color class. Edge of Winter is the product of generations of attempts harkening back to the subtle Iris Imbricata ancestry in Dr. Branch's Blue Fantasy. Excellent form; the floret is fully round with a nice light airy ruffling. Branched and sturdy weather resistant stems sport 7 to 8 buds each. A real breakthrough!
