INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1999 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Our aptly named Devil's Lake not only has a dark navy blue coloration but also produces exceptionally lofty 39" stems and gargantuan 7" x 4" flowers. It's simply bedeviled with the extraordinary. Best of all, the petals have a very airy ruffle - like a storm on Neptune's inland sea. Each towering stem has four branches and produces 6-8 flowers. Here's yet another vigorous deep blue Iris with ruffles galore from our long line of champions. This marvel is a "must have" acquisition for both the novice and collector.
