From the 1976 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: A cool — cool silver blue; a beautiful and different shade of perhaps a lighter blue than most with frosty silvery grey highlights. The harmonious beard is lighter still. Large, braod, semi-flaring and heavily ruffled. Very good branching and growth habit. Icy cool.
