From the 1967 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Here we have one of the most heavily laced iris thus far reported. Even the style-arms at the crest are margined with the pervading frothy lace. The half-opened buds burst forth lacily, reminding one of Persian cyclamens. Truly all things are possible with the Creator and the modification of genes that produce these fanciful new types of beauty represent real breaks from the norms of irisdom.
