INTERSTING INFO: From the 1958 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: This startingly differnt Iris has an ethereal, spectral type of beauty that will carve a unique niche in your consciousness and linger hauntingly in your memory. In garden effect it is much like the lovely Desert Song, but a closer inspection reveals it to be in a higher register of beauty. Of Limelight lineage, but much larger with exceedingly broad standards and falls, it is a glistening, sparkling ivory-cream flushed a cool lemon at the haft. Although actually of excellent crisp substance, this Iris has a paradoxical fragility of appearance with a crystalline, crepy, translucent, lacquered texture that gives it a quite unearthy type of beauty. Truly a celestially beautiful Iris which we consider one of out top introductions.
