From the 2010 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog Here is a real outpost on the frontier of red Iris. It averages exceptionally large 4¼" x 6½" flowers. The pleasing color pattern will mesmerize you. As shown in our photo, claret standards and darker maroon falls create an unusual bitone in ruby-red colors. This two-tone trait was certainly inherited from its pollen parent, Brazilian Holiday. Three-branched stems produce 7-8 buds per stalk.
