INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1966 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Ever since the late Paul Cook sprung a happy surprise on the iris world with his Whole Cloth, iris fanciers have been wondering aloud how soon someone would get a similar color break in pink and white. It has not been easy, but in this iris we have at last entered the charmed circle of orchid-pink combined with comparatively clear white. This new amoena is refreshingly original and so good that when blooming as a guest Iris last spring in a New Jersey garden on only a single one-year plant, it was immediately given a "Highly Commended" award by the visiting judges. Possesses classic rounded form with fresh, immaculate color and the charm that graceful ruffling alone can give. Its substance is extra good, resembling a magnolia. The cross was Melodrama x Amethyst Flame. An original color replete with endearing charm.
