INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1967 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Take your choice of two interesting color variations: Pansy Violet in ROYAL TOUCH or Pansy purple in CHORDETTE. Both are oustandingly rich with intense color saturation and vivid sheen and of similar size and excellence. Truly there is plenty of room for both! Chordette is much more vibrant than the duller older purple iris. It seems to carry a curious overlay of cerise enhancing its sheen. A most luxurious color innovation that is sure to win your heart.
