INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1974 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: An exquisite, crispy ivory to jersey-cream white bloom of unusual substance and texture, with a generous dash of glittering, sparkling encrusted gold gilted edges, epaulets and washes that cleverly embroider each standard. The falls are flaring with a laced edge, and a well-branched stem. There is a glimpse of paradisiacal comeliness that is captured in this exquisite iris. The ruffled, crinkled petals - the jaunty, flaring style of the flower with straight as an arrow branched stem embodies this appealing, fresh colored beauty; as lovely as its name.
