INTERESTING INFO:
From the 1961 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Here is an Iris of original coloring, unlike any other known variety - neither a red, nor an orange, nor a brown, but a true henna. Its coloring has been compared to the brilliant copper tone in the Austrian Copper Rose. Brasilia's color is so novel it stands out in any company. An Iris of leathery substance, large size, jaunty form, glossy texture, and excellent branching. If you enjoy richly burnished metallic tones, plant Brasilia!

Brasilia is the capital of Brazil.
