INTERESTING INFO: From the 2005 Schreiner's Iris Lover's Catalog: Late in the bloom season these compact 3½" x 5¾" flowers unfold an original blending of subdued hues. As shown in our photograph, the standards are colored a receding violet-purple. The falls echo a more muted tone of the same tint but are painted with a distinct touch of bronze on their edges. A shining white zonal spot highlights this floral masterpiece. |
